The Barefoot® saddle for classic riders!


Our Barefoot® Madrid model is visually perfect for classic riding, but not only does the look look good, the saddle also allows the rider to sit low and securely. The closeness to the horse is noticeable: the work of your horse's muscles and movements of the back are transferred like no other saddle of this type and thus forms the basis for finer riding.


The horse's back remains free of pressure, difficult lessons, meetings, gait changes: your horse can learn new things every day and change his muscles without tension, without the saddle restricting or even preventing your horse from moving freely through pressure. This keeps the muscles supplied with blood and can build up.


The stirrup suspension can be positioned between the seat and saddle as desired by the rider. This saddle adapts easily to your seat and your body dimensions.


The strapping is flexible and V-shaped. The saddle also fits difficult girth positions. It sits a little further forward than conventional saddles, so it positions the rider directly above the horse's center of gravity. Your horse can balance the rider's weight more easily; the basis for lessons of all kinds.


The seat is removable (fastened with Velcro) and can be replaced with a seat made of real sheepskin. The sheepskin seat has integrated rolls at the front and can be ordered additionally from us.


We make the Barefoot® Madrid from two different types of genuine leather:

Soft, supple, non-slip suede with integrated padding for the saddle seat and more stable, smooth saddle leather (South American quality) for the base.


6 D-rings for attaching the saddle pad etc.

As with all Barefoots, the interchangeable canopy (wide in size) is replaceable (see size advice).

Please note:


The saddle length (A) of the barefoot represents the total length of the saddle. Since there is no longer any pressure in the rear area of ​​the barefoot, the horse can move freely. Even if the overall dimensions of the saddle may seem a bit too long for your horse, you should choose the Barefoot according to "your measurements", because it is important that the rider fits into the saddle and does not sit in the front on the cantle and restricts the movement possibilities of the saddle This limits Barefoots. Your horse's back generally remains free of pressure in the rear saddle area - the Barefoot can be easily lifted at the back even when you are sitting in it.
