This moon-shaped replacement cover is made from genuine Australian Merino lambskin, combined with quilted fabric.
The Velcro fasteners make it possible to adapt to different brands of straps.
We can only give a fit guarantee on the moon straps from our own range.

When combining it with other brands you can only try it out.
The cover can accommodate internal parts up to a width of 10 cm in the anatomically shaped narrow area.
If you don't mind the slightly open Velcro surface, you can even use straps up to approx. 12 cm wide.
The cover can accommodate interior parts up to 13 cm wide at the middle widest area.
There are Velcro fasteners on the hem for additional fixation.
It also has an elastic band and a Velcro area at both ends, although you don't necessarily have to use them.

Note: When determining the length of third-party products, please ALWAYS measure your ENTIRE belt. NOT buckle to buckle.

Important care instructions:

Lambskins consist of real leather skin and fur and contain lanolin.
This is a natural wool fat and allows the lambskin to clean itself to a certain extent; it “repels” dirt.
The lambskin leather skin also consists of protein fibers, similar to human skin and always reacts to cleaning products
Short or long term with damage such as degreasing of the dermis. As a result, the leather stiffens and becomes brittle.

We therefore strongly advise NOT to wash lambskin products and do not accept any liability for damage caused by washing!

Our recommendation for cleaning: It is best to ventilate, shake out and brush out or vacuum with a vacuum cleaner or clean with a damp cloth!
However, if you would like to wash the lambskin product, you do so at your own risk!
When machine washing, there are always chemical residues in the washing machine
and the lambskin is in the water for far too long..

There are special moisturizing fur detergents for gentle hand washing. But even these can't
Maintain the natural functions and properties of the lambskin, especially the leather skin, in the long term.
If you dry a lambskin too quickly, the leather becomes hard and brittle!
Please understand that we do not guarantee or accept liability for damages,
which is obviously due to incorrect care (e.g. especially through washing and drying)
Lambskin products are created, take over!
If the coat is long-haired, the hair may become matted.
It is therefore important that you comb up long-haired fur after washing.
The easiest way to do this is with a curry comb or a regular hairbrush.
Always comb the tips - otherwise you will tear out too much of the undercoat from the sheepskin.

Perfektes Ersatzfell für den Lammfell-Mondgurt

Weiches, dickes Fell, das sich mit ein paar Handgriffen sehr gut am Gurt befestigen lässt.
