You will receive either a brand new or slightly used test pad. Please indicate your desired color in the note window during the order process at checkout. If in stock, we will send them to you. You have the opportunity to test the pad for 7 days. If you like it, you can keep it or exchange it for a new pad of your choice. The possible price difference to the test pad will then be recalculated.

If you do not like the test pad, send it back with postage paid.

After the return, we will refund you the purchase amount less. €15.00 test fee and €4.99 postage back.

The "ALIVIO IMPULSO DRESSUR" is our newest pad in the Alivio riding pad series! It belongs to the SLIM series family, like the "Alivio Athletic". Suitable for those for whom close sitting contact with the horse and adjustment options are important. The highlights:

Our anatomically cut riding pad ALIVIO IMPULSO combines the possibilities of a conventional riding pad or bareback pad with the advantages of a flexible saddle. The special feature of the ALIVIO IMPULSO is the dressage seat-like structure with the possibility of changing the seat height and swing using 2 Velcro elements. The pad is also equipped with Velcro knee pads. You can change the pommel effect as you wish or simply leave it out completely.

The suede version has a surface made of non-slip genuine suede. The nappa version has the vamp and roll area made of nappa leather. At the end of the blade it has a small part sewn with soft nappa leather to minimize the abrasion caused by the rider's thigh movement.
The Slim Velcro cushions consist of a breathable soft felt cover and can be padded with inlays of different thicknesses as required and can easily be reordered depending on the intensity of use.
The scope of delivery includes 1 pair of PUR foam inlays with a thickness of 10 mm. The approximately 50 cm long cushions are cut approximately 2 cm narrower to provide even better contact in the thigh area. This can be an advantage for very wide horses. And a WBS channel or physio structure is created with increased pressure distribution.

The underside is deliberately not made of anti-slip material or neoprene, but rather, in addition to the felt cushions, is made of cotton fabric as is also known from commercially available saddle pads.
The Impulso Pad has a V-strap sewn deep into the blade and a strap fastening that does not run across the back. This ensures even pressure distribution when strapping.
Incl. 5 D-rings, at the front for attaching a saddle pad or at the back for example for a light rain cape, seat skin etc...

Leaf padding thicknesses: Approx. 2.5 cm at the front in the roll area, approx. 1.2 cm at the back in the leaf leg area

Note: Due to its thin sheet padding, the IMPULSO Pad series always has slight visible wrinkles when unused.
This is a natural appearance of the covering on the thin upholstery and is not a reason for complaint or a technical disadvantage. When strapped to the horse, the leaf leather tenses again and becomes a little tighter.
Notes on the natural product leather:
The different types of leather in our pads are made from real tanned animal skin - meaning it is not an artificial product, but a natural product.
Each skin is therefore a fascinating individual piece.
There is no dermis in nature that has an absolutely uniform marbling over the entire surface.
Every tanned animal skin is unique in its texture, thickness,
and their behavior during dyeing and further processing.
The buffalo from which the leather comes spend their lives mainly outdoors and natural marks such as insect bites, scratches, light scars, stretch wrinkles, etc. are normal.
Natural leather always has different structures in different parts of the skin.
This is what characterizes the quality of genuine leather.
Differences in leather thickness, structure and color should therefore not be viewed as defects but rather as a special characteristic of nature.
