Zalea lambskin cover for Spanish saddles from Hidalgo, PS- Companero, Chezz iberico - 3 colors

The Zaleas each have a pocket at the "Zalea leaf end" into which the respective saddle leaf is pushed and the Zalea sits very stable.

Suitable for the various Spanish Hidalgo saddles and PS Companero:


Valencia Spezial (also includes the Light and Kilger version), also suitable for Companero and Hidalgo Barocco Spezial and Hidalgo Malaga Spezial, can also be used for Hidalgo Sanlucar, (if you pad the front gallery of the Zalea with foam or similar) .

Valencia II + Valencia I, also suitable for Chezz Iberico

Valencia Special Shorty, also suitable for Valencia Light shorty

Caracas II & Spezial (ATTENTION: only short version, blade length 46cm) also generally rated by customers as a good fit for Deuber Espera (slightly looser fit around the front gallery)

Please note that lambskin covers always have a little room in the fit and are not as tight as a chair cover, for example. These Zaleas also cope very well with the various series model changes to the saddles made by the manufacturer.


Colors: Black, brown or natural

Here are some care instructions that must be followed when cleaning our lambskin products:


Lambskins consist of real leather skin and fur and contain lanolin.

This is a natural wool fat and allows the lambskin to clean itself to a certain extent; it “repels” dirt.

The lambskin leather skin also consists of protein fibers, similar to human skin and always reacts to cleaning products

Short or long term with damage such as degreasing of the dermis. As a result, the leather stiffens and becomes brittle.

We therefore strongly advise NOT to wash lambskin products and do not accept any liability for damage caused by washing!

Our recommendation for cleaning: It is best to ventilate, shake out and brush out or vacuum with a vacuum cleaner or clean with a damp cloth!


However, if you would like to wash the lambskin product, you do so at your own risk!

When machine washing, there are always chemical residues in the washing machine

and the lambskin is in the water for far too long..


There are special moisturizing fur detergents for gentle hand washing. But even these can't

Maintain the natural functions and properties of the lambskin, especially the leather skin, in the long term.


If you dry a lambskin too quickly, the leather becomes hard and brittle!

Lambskin products are created, take over!


If the coat is long-haired, the hair may become matted.

It is therefore important that you comb up long-haired fur after washing.

The easiest way to do this is with a curry comb or a regular hairbrush.

Always comb the tips - otherwise you will tear out too much of the undercoat from the sheepskin.
