Ultralight saddle with the proven VPS system. The narrowly designed seat and the flat, extra short saddle flap allow the rider's leg to make very good contact with the pony or horse.

The seat is removable - this not only gives the saddle the desired flexibility and adaptability on the horse's back, but also allows the open stirrup suspension to be precisely adjusted to the rider. The open stirrup suspension is attached between the seat and the saddle base and can be easily adjusted. This means you can even adapt the saddle to riders whose leg lengths are different by moving the suspension either backwards or forwards.

The seat with a non-slip seat is anatomically shaped, the soft roll stabilizes the rider's leg in the saddle and provides framing support. The saddle is delivered with a low cantle. The strapping is flexible and V-shaped.

Like all barefoot saddles, this saddle can be placed a little further forward, so it positions the rider directly above the horse's center of gravity; the horse can more easily balance the rider's weight in this position. Due to the low cantle (approx. 2 cm), the saddle is visually slightly lower in the rear area than our other saddle models.

This saddle allows you to feel the movement of your horse's muscles and thus forms the basis for fine riding.

Horses run more freely under this saddle because shoulder movement is not restricted and the movement becomes more harmonious. The back muscles build up because the muscles are better supplied with blood thanks to the flexibility of the saddle.

We recommend using it with our mono or soft leather stirrup leathers.

As with all Barefoots, the interchangeable canopy (in medium size) is replaceable (see size advice).

Please note:

The saddle length (A) of the barefoot represents the total length of the saddle. Since there is no longer any pressure in the rear area of the barefoot, the horse can move freely. Even if the overall dimensions of the saddle may seem a bit too long for your horse, you should choose the Barefoot according to "your measurements", because it is important that the rider fits into the saddle and does not sit in the front on the cantle and restricts the movement possibilities of the saddle Barefoots are therefore limited. Your horse's back generally remains free of pressure in the rear saddle area - the Barefoot can be easily lifted at the back even when you are sitting in it.

Each Barefoot saddle is equipped with an interchangeable cantle in the front area, which allows it to be adjusted to the shoulder width of your horse. With the help of our measuring template you can easily determine the right size.
