Soft "moon girth" with synthetic faux fur - removable, short girth - saddle girth

This crescent-shaped girth, lined with synthetic faux fur, features front stainless steel roller buckles spaced slightly closer together than the rear buckles. This design allows the girth to open up more towards the horse's belly, providing extra room—especially for rounder horses. Consequently, the open shape prevents the girth from being pulled too far forward toward the elbows. For some horses, this crescent shape also helps prevent the saddle from being pulled or pressed onto the shoulder.

The durable girth features a top layer of robust quilted cotton and is padded on the underside with faux fur (pile height approx. 20 mm). The fur lining sits softly against the girth area and effectively absorbs sweat and moisture, while also ensuring comfortable temperature regulation for the horse.

This girth is intentionally designed without elastic inserts.
Includes one D-ring for attaching a breastplate or martingale.

Color: Black quilted cotton; detachable synthetic faux fur cover available in black or natural.

Width: Approx. 14 cm at the widest point and approx. 10 cm at the narrowest point.
Length (buckle to buckle): Approx. 45, 55, 65, 75, or 85 cm.

The total length of the girth is approximately 12 cm longer than the buckle-to-buckle measurement due to the fabric extending beyond the ends.

This means there is a material overhang of +/- 6 cm beyond the buckles at each end of the girth.
Total girth length = 12 cm plus the buckle-to-buckle measurement.

Washing instructions for the cover: Wash in cold water, then shake out. Wash only the cover/sleeve; do not wash the inner pad!
